Adopting a Dog? Center Dogs Available for Adoption in Gilbert
Thanks for considering adopting your next canine friend for life! The first step to adopting a dog is to follow this link to complete an online adoption consultation form. Once you have completed the form, please visit the adoption center during regular hours, to speak with an adoption counselor. When you arrive at the adoption center, please let us know you have already completed the Consultation Form online so we may access your information.
(Please note, due to the volume of consultation forms received, we do not follow up with each submission, so visiting the adoption center is the next step).
Adopting a Dog from a Foster Home
Some of the dogs in our care reside in foster homes. Most foster dogs are at the adoption center on Saturdays. If you and your adoption counselor agree you may be a good fit for a dog in foster care, a specific appointment may be arranged for you and the dog to meet, outside of Saturday adoption hours. Please note, families with an appointment to meet a dog in foster care will take priority over walk-in inquiries. For more information contact FFLDogs@AzFriends.org
The Dog's Best Interest Always Comes First
Please be aware that Friends for Life reserves the right to approve or deny any adoption based on the best interest of the dog, as determined by Friends for Life. In cases when multiple families are interested in the same dog, a home will be chosen based on the best match for the animal’s needs.
