Our Wish List
There are many in-kind donations that are always welcome in addition to any cash donations – check out our extensive wish list below. Feel free to drop off at our location during office hours. Gift cards for pet stores are always welcome to use for special food for the animals in our care. Gift cards to restaurants, etc., are also valuable – we use them for raffle prizes to help raise funds for our ongoing needs.
Dog Leashes, Collars, Harnesses
- Extra-small dog harnesses (inexpensive ones found at Ryan’s Pet Supply – can be bought online)
- Small dog harnesses (inexpensive ones found at Ryan’s Pet Supply – can be bought online)
- Small dog collars (8-12” collars) and medium dog collars (14-18″)
- 4’ and/or 6’ nylon leashes
- Slipleads (available online at Ryan’s for about 50-cents each!)
- Gently used sheets and towels
Cat Necessities
- Kitty litter (preferably scoopable/clumpable).
- Cat Feliway sprays – liquid plug-in refills and calming collars (Amazon.com)
- Soft paws claw tips for cats
- Cat toys
- Kitten Milk Replacer (KMR)
- Cat food – canned food brands NutroMax, Nutro, Natural Balance & dry food brand Purina One Hairball Formula
- Fancy Feast or Friskies Pate wet food (excluding cat food with Salmon)
- Cat treats
Food & Treats
- Canned dog food – any brand (except no Beneful, Old Roy or Alpo please!)
- Dry dog food – premium brands (Natural Balance, Merrick, Wellness, Canidae, Nutro, Solid Gold, Halo, Nature’s Recipe – All these brands are available at PetCo and Pet Club. No Beneful, Old Roy, Purina or Alpo please. We also usually need Puppy and Senior food.
- Dog treats (milk bones, etc.) – but no rawhide bones please!
- Vienna sausages – we use them during dog behavior assessments
- Greenies pill pockets for dogs and cats
Cleaning Supplies
- Laundry Detergent (liquid only please)
- Cleaning Supplies (floor cleaners, Lysol products, Lysol-type wipes – Meyers brand is requested)
- Odoban (found at Sam’s Club)
- Large Trash Bags
- Paper towels
- Bleach

- Facial Tissues (any brand!)
